MAJOR GENERAL (RETIRED) WALLACE ARNOLD

Major General Wallace C. Arnold, an Associate with The Barthwell Group, has completed over fifty years of public service, service in private industry and higher education. Upon graduation from Hampton University, he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant and awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in   Industrial Education and later graduated from George Washington  University with a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources. His military education includes completion of the Air Defense Artillery School, the United States Army Command and General Staff College and the Naval War College.  He has held a wide variety of important command and staff positions, culminating as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, Department of the Army

General Arnold retired after more than thirty-four (34) years of active service. He subsequently joined Information Technology Solutions, Inc. as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. He was the Regional Director for Business Development for Computer Sciences Corporation in Hampton, Virginia. Afterward, he served as the Director, Hampton University Technical Data Management Laboratory. From January 2004 to June 2007, he was the Interim President of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. He serves on numerous boards throughout the United States, including the Board of Directors of the Piney Woods School, Piney Woods, MS. He has received numerous awards and commendations.
